Hey guys. I'm heading off to Cuba & Mexico in Febuary for around 4 wks and have no idea where to start off and which way around to do it as I'm new to Central America. Any suggested itineraries would be much appreciated. Also, does anyone know roughly how much a flight between Cuba & Mexico City or Cancun would cost once there?
I travelled to Cuba from Cancun 2 months ago and paid about US$340 on Cubana Airline. The price included the tourist card.
try to search at Copa Airlines as well
from mexico your cheapest bet would be cubana, its 289 CUC i think, about $340 i think
you most reliable bet from mexico would be mexicana, which is prob about $40 more
both have almost daily flights, mexicana is more reliable in the sense that they usually leave on time, cubana tends to have regular delays, so if you've got a connecting flight you need to get mexicana, i believe cubana lets you get an open ticket though for no additonal cost and offer student discounts
look on kayak and see what they're prices are saying, but those two are your best bets
