I keep meaning to ask - although I'm guessing the answer is right in front of my nose...
How does one go about unsubscribing from all threads without having to bring up the list and click "unsubscribe" for each? I'm subscribed to so many, it takes forever to do - and I just want to make sure the notifications don't fill up my inbox when I'm away. I tried removing my email address from my profile, but to no avail....
Help me, overlords!
P.S. I just subscribed to this one too. I'm obsessed!

The fastest way to unsubscribe from all the threads is to follow these instructions to the letter:
1: turn off your computer
2: send the computer via FedEx to Illinois, USA
3: let friendly Illinoisans use your computer for a period of 7 months, after which time, all computer related problems will solve themselves
4: have a glass of wine
Failure to adhere to any of the aforementioned regulations will result in a harsh talking to by several moderators of this fine site. Really. Honest. Stop subscribing to threads.
You need to pay a visit to 'Thread Subscribers Anonymous', the 12-step programme should sort you out
I'm not sure if switching off email notifications in your message center fixes this. I think the answer is no
So, the short answer is one-by-one (good idea though for our 'to do' list!). I'd recommend checking out the my 50 last posts page and seeing which you are subscribed to there. If you're using firefox or something like ie7 as a browser, open up the main active posts in seperate tabs from there and just go through them tab-by-tab unsubscribing.
Alternatively, you could temporarily change the email in your profile to an account you don't use as much and it wouldn't clutter up your inbox
