Here is our plan,
Hang around Chile for a while after doing Peru Ecudaor etc, then head over to Buenos Aries, and rent an apartment for a couple of months and teach Conversational English.
Has anyone done that and not been busted.
We figure, put an ad in the paper and advertise, and maybe charge $10.00 an hour from our apartment.
Does anyone know anyone who has done this, or are we having ouselves on.
You won't get busted (at least, that's extremely unlikely); you won't get any students, either. BsAs is continuously flooded with native speakers of English looking to teach, so there's way too much offer, and demand is not that high since command of English in Argentina is relatively good, due to which argentinians are selective as to whom they hire to boost their conversational skills. Without teaching credentials (and a thorough knowledge of spanish), you may just as well forget about it.
no way you will be able to get ten us dollars hr cut it in half 15 pesos is good but without credentials i bet on around ten to fifteen pesos. No worries about being caught
