Anyone know great 3-4 star hotels in Bangkok beside or really really near MBK or Siam Paragon area?

Budget is around 100 USD a night (twin sharing). Our choices are Pathunwan Princess and Novotel, but they're quite over the budget. We're looking for hotels preferrably in very close Proximity to the shopping malls.

Thanks!

I stayed in D'Ma Pavilion, Bangkok and was pretty satisfied with the service, it was quite close to the Platinum Mall and it cost me less than 100USD

If you must spend that amount of money each night, here are a few other hotels that are near shopping and the Skytrain route.

Landmark Hotel
Sheraton Grand
Grand Pacific

All are on or just off Sukhumvit Road. They are within walking distance to either the Nana Skytrain or the Asoke Skytrain stops.

Hotels at half that $100 price range are not too bad! Thailand has some good prices for hotels compared to many countries. You can even find air conditioned rooms under 1000 baht that have private toilet/showers, TV, refrigerators, etc.
