For the record, it was an absolutely perfect day in Melbourne on xmas.. about 23 °C or so with blue skies. Considering the previous week had brought torrential downpours, we were pretty happy to have it all beautiful on the day. Boxing day and today have both been equally as nice

Saw the Perth temps though... ouch! 44º is quite some way past pleasant!

Ok Peter you are saying l was a year early!! Just gotta go back again next year then!

Yep, you'd better give it another shot! Although if there is one thing that can be said about Melbourne weather, it's that it's unpredictable. So I certainly won't be making any claims about next year's weather just yet ;)

Sorry Anthony - I'm with Beerman and Mike on this one...
Mike - do we have to bring our golf clubs for this party or will they be provided for us???? ;)

Issy,
I have to report that due to injuries and cooler weather, I am hanging up my clubs for a few months. You will have to tote yours along if you are coming to our party. Try here for more info on the big blowout on NYE.

Well, since you have hung up your clubs for the moment, I guess we'll just stay here and play snow golf. Besides, I don't want to miss that 4-7 inches of white stuff predicted for tomorrow. (If you believe that, I have some swamp land for ya.)

Issy wanders off to find the green and orange golf balls....

Surprised you had bad weather in Melbourne Purdy. Last year was pretty dry as I recall it. I was there late March and it was still high summer...well at least compared to dutch summers
