Hi- my names Vicky, from the UK, I'm in Mysore for a month- got here 2 days ago, and I don't know a soul- am going to take classes at the Shala throughout January so if anyone fancies meeting up for a coffee or something that would be great as a bit lonely in the evenings, also wheres good to go for food around Gokulam? Am renting a room very nearby, hope to hear from some people;)

Hi Vicky,

Sorry buddy, can't help much as I am from Delhi (around 2300 Kms from Mysore) and not in India thes days.

Welcome to India and enjoy your stay. I am sure even if you don't find satisfactory reply here, you will certainly find some cool chums to hang-out with.

Mysore is a Nice and Clean City with great people,

Cheers,

ANIL

More about India

India's civilization stretches back at least 5,000 years and, remarkably, has been maintained to an extremely high level in the 20th century. Whereas other Asian nations have seen the decline of traditional culture, Indians, particularly those away from the major cities, maintain their traditional way of life.
