Can anyone help?
am travelling to uk via Venice on 09 Jan 2008. Will be arriving to Venice by Greek Ferry . I will be going by Eurolines bus to uk, its the cheapest route I could find. Ferry arrives 07.00 am in Venice , bus leaves at 4 p.m.
was wondering if anyone had any tips ? i.e. is there a bus from port to the piazzale roma? Where can I leave luggage etc?
Is anyone going on same route??? Let me know!!
Thanks

:)Hi,

the Ferry from Greece usually arrives at San Basilio Port, which is not far from Piazzale Roma. You can reach piazzale Roma either walking(depends on how heavvy is your luggage!) or by boat, which the way to travel inside Venice.
For boat line number and timetable have a look here
At Piazzale Roma there is also the Railway Station and you can deposit your luggage there. Then you can walk inside Venice, there are signs along the way that lead to Rialto Bridge, San Marco square, etc. And...enjoy!:)

hi
thanks for the helpful tips, I also knew of a place to leave luggage which was in the piazzale roma on the other side next to the Eurolines office. Do you know if this still exists?
