I'm gonna be spending 5 days in tokyo on my way back to UK beginning of Feb... is it really as expensive as its made out to be, need to conserve my funds for a trip round se asia in march:)

Has anyone been to any of the theme parks in the tokyo area? My mate wants to go on these Hyper Coasters! sounds fun!

I went to the Tsukiji fish market and I had so much fun, perfect for a rainy day. Showed up super early to see the weird stuff and by the time i was done i still had the morning to do something else :)

I also enjoyed Asakusa and Harajuku districs but I felt like the big shopping and business districs were a waste of time for me, I just ended up getting lost and wasting allot of time trying to figure out which supermall i was in front of :P

Ueno is also pretty nice. Most of the major museums are located here and in particular I'd suggest paying a visit to the Tokyo National Museum, where there are a lot of cool artifacts. The Ueno Zoo is also pretty cool, particularly to have a look at the pandas!
