good website to upload pictures

hi there

i'm looking for a good website where you can upload pictures fast and for free. and where you can easily share subfolders with friends and family.

any suggestions?

Right here! you can now upload pictures in bulk on TP and send the link to friends.
Flickr and Snapfish are other ones I have heard of.

I'm a bit TP fan, really! But one caution about using it for photo's, you should resize them to 800 x 600 before uploading or you'll use up your monthly capacity fairly quickly. If you're just looking for a site to share photos, not archive or backup them, that's fine.

However if you want to save the full file size for archive purposes, it might be better to use one of the other sites. All of them have storage limitations, you can only store so much under the 'free' plan - if you want more space you have to buy it (but I don't think it costs that much).

i also agree that if you dont want to use TP then flickr is a GREAT site for photos

Oops! I meant to say "Big" TP fan, not bit TP fan - big mistake. Yes, I love Travellerspoint, but I wouldn't use it to archive photo's - just to share them.

Flickr. I would even suggest breaking our your wallet and signing up for the Premium Flickr account. It's a great deal.

Another good option if you are willing to pay for it is SmugMug. They are excellent.

Free does not always equal good. Flickr and Smugmug are low cost solutions that will pay off in the end with more storage.

You can also upload photos on facebook. You're limited to 60 photos per album but I don't think there's any limit to the number of albums you can have.

Ar, and facebook is free.

Ar, but the photos aren't massive, but they're big enough if you just want to give people an idea of your holiday.
