Hi, i'm planning a trip to take in most of Asia - Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, China and am looking for someone to share my travels with. I'm a 26 year old female and it'll be my first time travelling alone. Would love to hear from anyne who has advise or would like to join me.
Also, i'm considering the trans siberian link from Moscow to Beijing any thoughts?
I am flying into Singapore mid July and travelling round Malaysia, up to Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam.
I am also travelling solo, so if you plans sound similar drop me a line.
Hey -- I may be interested in joining...are you thinking of going anywhere else?
Do you know when you'll be leaving? Myself & a mate are flying out to China early in June & then working our way down to Singapore (through Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand & Malaysia).
Feel free to PM me.
Hey, how long are you intending to be travelling for? I am planning on heading to Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, possibly Singapore, Borneo and Bali... mid September...
I would like to go to Asia too. I'll be free to travell in August and It could be a good idea join you. But i was thinking to the weather...is it the raining season?
hi i'm going to be leaving moscow on july 31 and travelling into china, and staying there all through august. i'm a bit nervous about travelling by myself so let me know if our plans overlap at all
I'll be flying into Kuala Lumpur mid June and spending the next 7 weeks travelling through Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia and Laos.....probably about 1 &1/2 to 2 weeks in each.
Anyone keen to meet up let me know plans as the time approaches......its getting closer and i'm getting more excited!!!!!
Depends to which area of the country that you travel to.
August will be moonsoon season for East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia namely state if Kelatan, Terengganu, Coastal area of Pahang & Johore.
West side ie Kuala Lumpur (KL), Selangor all the way up (North) to Penang Island & down (South) to Johore will not be effected. So does Sabah & Sarawak (East Malaysia). Be expected for rain which is norm.
If you are planning to go island consider - Langkawi, Pulau Payar, Pulau Pangkor. There is a lot of island for snorkelling & scuba in Sabah & Sarawak.
It is now quite hot here in KL.
Wow, I cant believe how many people are doing similar routes! I'm hitting Beijing 21st July and then making my way south over the next few months to Singapore by land, sounds like a few of you are doing the same. I'm also traveling alone for the 1st time and would def appreciate some company for a few beers or whatever, so count me in
