Uyuni to San Pedro de Atacama tours in the rainy season?

Travel Forums Central/South America & The Caribbean Uyuni to San Pedro de Atacama tours in the rainy season?

greenrobin has indicated that this thread is about Bolivia

I gather it's now the rainy season in the Bolvian altiplano, does anybody know if it's still possible to do a jeep tour into Chile from Uyuni? Any recommendations on good tour companies would also be gratefully received. My girlfriend is not quite as inclined to rough-it as me so I was also wondering if there are any tours that are semi-comfortable but still affordable?

This isn't spam, I'm new to this thing. I posted my message first in the general forum, then decided that it should be in under 'Bolivia' s copied and pasted a new message.
I won't duplicate messages again, sorry!
Genuinely planning a trip to Bolivia though and any help appreciated.

Hi Robin!

Though the "flag" said SPAM, your post was actually flagged as a duplicate. I have now removed your other thread as duplicate posting are not allowed. It happens. When a thread is flagged, there is a drop-down menu of reasons and duplicate is one of them. So, it's all been rectified and have fun on your adventure!!

Isa now returns this thread to it's originally scheduled topic. ;)

Maybe an idea to have another function to delete a duplicate entry someway. I feel a bit guilty flagging one as a duplicate

It's definitely possible having a jeep drop you off at the Chilean border (many agents offers this option to travellers continuing to Chile). I wouldn't waste my money on finding one that claims a higher level of comfort, since you're very likely just to pay a lot more. The whole experience isn't particularly rough anyway - though it isn't particularly comfortable either.
