depends what you want. There are loads of pubs there, during the night in half Penn' Bridge a lots of going there. last Sept we stayed 4 days there and find it a bit too long. To to honest, I find it quite boring there just another city break.

Guinness Brewery, Book Of Kells at Trinity College, pubs.

I finally saw St. Michan's church and the mummies in the crypts. A little creepy, but very fascinating. Although I do like than kind of thing...

Also, Jamison's Whisky brewery (volunteer to taste test!), Kilmainham Goal, a walk along the Liffey, and bar hopping. And stay away from Bocca restaurant near Grafton street - disgusting canned food disguised as gourmet Italian. Blech.

I did a full day tour of the Wicklow mountains which was beautiful (I think it was called the Wild Wicklow tour). You get to see the country side where Braveheart was filmed and get a sense of how most people live in Ireland. You also get shots of Jameson at the end of the trip!

I would also do the Guinness Brewery and shop on Grafton street.

Have fun Dublin is a great town.

Dublin is fine, I would go to Wicklow if you have time (take the train) or even Howth on the Dart. It would be a cheap day trip to what is a pretty nice seaside town.

Other than that, the good ol touristy tours (bus, viking splash tour and the like!), some wonderful museums and the Hugh Lane Gallery is always good. Free aswell if I remember correctly.

Have fun!
