With the meet-up just less than a month away, I'd like to get an idea on the number of possible attendees. Please contact me if you are planning to join us and for which days. Having this information will help in setting up an initial meeting time and place. Thank you in advance!!!! ;)

We look forward to seeing everyone who is brave enough to participate!

Well... The post card gauntlet has been thrown down and we have our work cut out for us over the weekend. Seriously. We've been threatened with jail time (or something on that order since a bailiff was mentioned) if we don't send a few of the Utrecht Meet-Up and other TPers some post cards. Yes, I will bring along the Utrecht "package" so you can all see what we're up against - it's a brutal challenge but I think we're up for it... After lots of drinks... Massive quantities of drinks... I mean a boatload of drinks...

Isa now wanders off to find enough pens for everyone because they are going to need them!

HA, I say...HA....we can do better (though it was a good attempt on the Utrechtians part)...

At the bar (any bar we stumble into), we can use the pimentos from martini olives to make an ink, and using toothpicks as pens, we can then scribble out messages on used napkins and coaters. After the writing part is done, we can tie the messages (using stiching pulled from the waitresses apron) to any number of carrier pigeons which are known to frequent downtown Chicago....we'll just need to tie little bags of bar popcorn to their tiny legs as well....long flight overseas, you know.

What were they smoking in Utrecht anyway?

Quoting Purdy

What is this about strange "packages" from the Netherlands????????

ANYWAY - only 3 days yippppeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!

the strange package was induced after we went into a state of shock that we had spent two days doing tourist things (cycling for hours to see tulip fields and searching for the worlds biggest tulip on the saturday) and then on the sunday walking up the few hundred steps of the dom, and then finally after the culture bit we ended up in an irish pub.......... we even managed to make up our own strange thread..........
