I'm not sure how it works but I have seen on some similar sites where you can write your blog and then there is a facility to share your blog with your facebook friends either by a message going out to them or by posting it on your facebook profile.
Is this available on TP yet?
There's actually two ways to do this through Travellerspoint (got to love that answer, huh?!)
I wrote this post about doing it automatically which is what I do with my blog (although I rarely post) and that works nice and quick and doesn't require any thought each time you post an entry, so I'd say this is the preferred way to do it. Basically it brings in your blog as notes and every time you add a new entry on TP, it will show up in your minifeed on FB as it's imported (which takes 5 minutes to half an hour or so). You can set your blog feed from TP to be a full feed which means it will include photos and everything and also allow commenting directly in FB.
The other way is available for everyone and doesn't necessarily even have to be your blog that you share. In the same entry I link to above, at the bottom of the entry, you'll see some different little icons including one for Facebook. Clicking on that brings up Facebook's share functionality, by default in 'Post to profile' mode (two tabs at the top, the other being 'Send a Message'). Just choose whether you want to post it to your profile or whether you want to send it in a message and hit the Post button and it will do whichever of the two you chose. The nice thing about this is that you can do it for every page you like, including for example this one (there's a FB link on the left hand side of this page). I'll post this thread to the Travellerspoint group on Facebook - that might help some others
Thanks Sam for your help I managed to do it successfully and wouldn't have had a clue if you didn't help me with it
I've also joined the facebook group too
No worries at all; the more people importing their travel blogs into Facebook, the more of their friends will realize what a cool system Travellerspoint really has And we can always use more members in the group - welcome!
