im going to indonesia for 60 days over the summer and was just wondering does anyone know the best way to get the visa sorted? is there a consulate in ireland, or do you have to send the passport to the uk? il be in thailand first so is it possible to get it done there? i know you can get a 30 day visa on arrival but i want to stay for the 60 days and this needs to be arranged beforehand, anyway thanks for any info.
Citizens of Ireland can get the visa on arrival (for a fee) with a maximum stay of 30 days. However, since you're going to be there for 60 days, you will have to apply for a tourist visa at the nearest Indonesian embassy. They have an Honorary Consul in Dublin.

I suggest that you contact them first to confirm that they accept visa application before going there. Also, remember to check the terms and conditions for the 60-day tourist visa.
thats great mate, thanks.
