You can get the "vacuum" bags that you roll to push out the air. The air squashes out of the bottom of a zigzig setup at the bottom seals of the bag and if air tries to rush back in it creates a vacuum and seals it self. They are ressonably effective but air slowly leaks in. But you have plenty of time to pack you bag before they start to leak air in. Once you bag is packed it doesn't matter.
Remember to take into account more items and less air will make your pack a lot heavier.
But short answer yes, you can get them, you don;t need a vacuum cleaner to suck air out, the are pretty good and you can get them at good outdoor and camping stores.
