"For 50 years Israel kept the Palestinian land it took by force in 1948 (18,643 sq. km. out of 20,325 sq. km., or 92% of Israel's area) under the Custodian of the Absence (Landowners) property. Through a legal maze designed to remove the accusation of land robbery and the responsibility before international law, the Custodian transferred this property to a 'Development Authority' which can exploit the land to the benefit of Jews only, even though they may not be residents of Israel. In an agreement between the Government and the Jewish National Fund (JNF), Palestinian land and JNF holdings are to be administered by Israel Land Administrations (ILA) under JNF rules, i.e., exploitation by Jews only."

"The great majority of Palestinian land is leased to the Kibbutz and Moshav for 49 years (i.e., expiry date is 1998). The Israeli 'farmers' number today about 154,000 Jews (2.7% of Israel's population) and control the land of 4,500,00 refugees. In the period 1948 - 1967 ......"

Um... I seem to have lost the train of this thread. Was it to discuss what's happening in the middle east? Or to post links ad nauseum? I'm all for an open (even a heated!) discussion, but this is all very military-bombardment-like.

And you still do not speak with your own words - only the words of others. Oh, and more links.

I will bet most will survive through their own resourcefulness and the kindness of others. The very young, the very old and the sick may not. I am sure you will find links to show us the end result also.

T, I'm not sure there really was a "train of thought" to this thread, other than someone's ability to use a search engine, since there was no dialogue initiated by the original poster. But, maybe it's just me... :(

Now, this could pass off as a promotional post! Scandalous, as Sam would say!

What the hell is spirituality?

Uh, I dont know. I heard somebody using that word and thought it would make my post look fancy because it is quite a big word;)

No, I don't know. The only people I know who talk about "spirituality" are into rocks (sorry, I mean crystals), lighting candles (oh, how mystic), and talking about how dogs can predict earthquakes (but strangely enough, not Lottery numbers). Ask them what "spirituality" means and they never seem to provide an answer that makes sense; eg. "getting in touch with your spiritual side" doesn't exactly mean much to me.

I can't quite describe why, but it sounds like a load of rubbish to me.

Spirituality has to do with how we use the energy that governs the universe.
Here is an example of that energy: U glare at somebody so u send out bad energy. They are likely to send it back to u or to somebody else. If a person is skilled with harnessing the energy of the universe they will be able to release the negative energy instead of passing it to others or internalising it so it makes them sick. They will also know how to take in positive energy without relying on materialism(defined as a dependence on anything outside ourselves to feel a certain way).
Crystals, fire(candles) etc are not spirituality. But nature absorbs negative energy so a sensitive(or a not so senstitive person if they practice) person can use natural materials to absorb the negativity.
Anyway, why do I have to explain this? Cant u Google?
