How do you edit your photo tags in your personal gallery? Since we started bulk uploading, mine seem to have multiplied. I either add an "s" to an exisiting one, include a typo, spell the word wrong (oops), put it in a new configuration...the list goes on and on and on! Please advise, Thanks!

There's not really an easy way to do it for a batch of photos (sorry in advance ), but this is how I would do it in a browser allowing tabs (Firefox, IE7, Safari etc.).

Open the gallery of photos that have been tagged with the tag that you want to replace/change. It'll be something like this:

http://www.travellerspoint.com/my_photo_gallery.cfm?tags=tagname

That'll bring up a list of pics that have been tagged with that tagname. Next to each photo there is a 'Edit Information' link. Go through the entire gallery opening that link in new tabs in your browser as you go along. Then visit all those open Tabs and update the tagname accordingly.

Should take a minute or so per 15 photos I'd imagine once you get into it :)

Umm, actually I'm quite happy to say that there IS a fairly easy way to batch edit them!

In your gallery, each photo has a checkbox under it. Tick the photos you want to edit the tags of and then at the bottom of the page click on the "Edit Selected" button. You will be able to edit all the photos at once with the same editor used in the the batch upload. If all the photos have the same tags, then you can also use the "copy to other photos" link on the top photo to further speed up the process.

If you want to edit only photos with a certain tag, then Sam's suggestion to first click on the tag to bring up the gallery is a good one, so that you can easily tick all the photos with that tag at once.

This is also not a bad way to map photos to a certain location at once.

Hope it helps.
