Has anyone from Canada tried the TravelCuts/Bon Voyage SWAP program?
How is it? Where'd you go? I want testimonials from people other than the ones the company churn out.

I met a girl recently who went to Nepal with TravelCuts and said it was amazing. She highly recommended the organization. Sorry i can't give you any first hand experience, but I can at least say i was very impressed with how highly this girl thought of it!!

I looked into it briefly once and figured it would be cheaper to go about it on my own. This doesn't mean that it's not worthwhile, but I would getting info about other programs, or work opportunities as well. You can also apply for a working holiday visa for a variety of countries if you are under the age of 30. Then you can go somewhere and work legally.

I'd want to do the Teach in Brazil one because they set you up with a job but I think it'd be kind of weird to be paid to teach because I would always be thinking I should be volunteering.

Either that or Germany, although I don't speak German.

Hi I have a working visa arranged through bunac and they use the SWAP faclities, all they really do is provide support when your over there and stuff like that.

Would definately recommend it!
