If money wasn't a limitation, where in the world (location wise) would you most
want to embark on an adventure holiday in and please elaborate on what
you'd most love seeing and doing, or did see and do (if you experienced it),
as I'm looking for helpful suggestions and ideas.

I would start from South and Central Latin America.

Hello Kl70:)

If money and time were not an object I would make my way from Europe to Asia by train stopping at various places along the way. I would prefer to go via Iran and Pakistan but with the way things are at the moment in Pakistan I would go via Russia.

I would like to experience Silk Route but maybe I need to change the route via Russia due to current situation in the Middle East.

This may sound odd, but I think that money being an obstacle is what makes a holiday so adventurous. If you had unlimited funds, you'd get bored pretty fast.

If someone twisted my arm, though, I'd say a tour of Africa. I've got Africa on the brain nowadays.

Sailing or cabincruising around the world on a diving adventure. I'd like a crewed vessel where I could be part of the crew once in awhile and just enjoy the ride the rest of the time. I would definitely keep a small house somewhere so some of my possessions had a place to live. Also, it would serve for a home base when we needed some dry land time. Otherwise, wherever the boat drops anchor will be just fine. Since money is no object, we can stay as short or long a time as we please in each port of call.

T, I'd love the chance to test your hypothesis about becoming bored... If that happens, you can have some of the money.

I am not the type that goes bungeejumping with the kiwi's, but there are some adventures to be found there, so that could be a choice, but if you count in hiking in the Himalaya's as an adventure, then I think I would go for Bhutan.

I think people think I'm crazy when I say that - but it's true! The fun you have is directly related to the effort you put in. Not that I'd say no to a free trip, mind. I'm philisophical - not stupid. ;)

i'd buy a unimog kitted out for overlanding and drive it from the u.k. across europe, down through turkey, the middle east, across the top of africa and then down the western side hitting as many countries as I could. then i'd continue to work my way down the western side finding my way across the continent to go back round to hit up uganda, ethiopia, kenya tanzania the top of mozambique and down the coast cutting over to hit malawi, zambia, botswana, namibia and then on down to south africa finishing at cape agulhas. there would be unlimited funds for the beer cooler and extra money to check into some air conditioning once in a blue moon! not asking for too much right?

I would love to travel by the Trans-siberian railway and of course stopping enroute at places to experience the terrain and the culture on the way
