'the 11th edition is awful! it is the one i had when i was travelling in india and 3 weeks into my trip i threw it out a bus window! the information was so innacurate, the maps were bad..... i found the best source of travel information as far as timetables sights costs etc in india came from the mouths of the hoards of israeli's, seriously! they are experts and they are everywhere! your pack will be much lighter and your trip far less frustrating without that awful book

Thanks for the warning Loulabella.
I wont take everything I read in the book as the absolute truth then.
I got it for free so at least if it is rubbish I wont have handed out 30 Euros for it.

I travelled India on an antique Rough Guide which was still scarily accurate (apart from some prices & had to double check train times), so I'm sure you'll be fine with the new LP - if not, pick up a 2nd hand RG when you are there... Have a wicked time
