Boracay, not listed in Travellerspoint database?

Travel Forums System Talk Boracay, not listed in Travellerspoint database?

Hi, I'm new here and I just tried to load up some of my travel blogs here and I encountered something while posting my blog about Boracay. It is not listed in the cities/towns in the Philippines. So when I map my pictures and blogs using the word Boracay, the pointer goes to the Philippine pointer.

Is it possible for the admin to add Boracay in the map, so we can point it to the correct spot. Boracay is the top tourist destination in the Philippines basically because of its sugary soft white beach. It is located of the coast of Caticlan in the Panay island.

The problem is that islands are missing from our database - including ones like Boracay. You can add the town of Balabag, which if I'm not mistaken is on Boracay. Only, looking at the map, for some reason Boracay doesn't show up as land either - so Balabag kind of looks like it's in the middle of the ocean!

I think we will need to add islands to our list, because this is a fairly regular issue.

Balabag is a town on the main island of Panay at the province of Iloilo... Boracay is an island at the northwestern tip of Panay island.. off the coast of the town of Caticlan... as of the moment I used Caticlan to point at it the nearest....

from the map I saw Borocay on the sea area near Caticlan...

Hmm ok.

It should be noted that you can also manually create a new location for your own use - use the "select on map" button that is shown when adding trip locations. It will let you point to the location on the map. Or alternatively you can type in the latitude and longitude if you can find them from somewhere..
