Hello everyone, just wondering if anyone has suggestions on the cheapest way to travel from Amsterdam to Prague. The rail seems to be quite expensive, somewhere in the region of $150-180, and I found a flight for about 90 euro. Is there a better, or cheaper, way to go about it? I appreciate any help.
Alternatively, you could take the bus ...
For schedules and prices, check the following site :
The befefit of taking the train is that you could go via Berlin (ifyou would be interested in that). And when you're buying a roundtrip, the second person travels with 50% discount ...
i saw you message saying you were able to get a flight from 90 euros from Amsterdam to Prague could I ask you what airline that was and where you found the deal.
There are different ways to fly to prague but the low fare airlines don't fly direct from amsterdam.
What you can do is fly to another airport first and then on to another.
You can take Jet2 (www.jet2.com) to fly to leeds and then to prague
or easyjet(www.easyjet.com) to standsted and from there to prague.
This could turn out cheaper if you book in time

Ok today i found out that there is a direct low fare air connection between amsterdam and prague.
Smart wings (www.smartwings.net) has a direct connection.

Thank you for all the help, but I haven't been able to log on in a while, and I've been and gone to Prague, which was incredible.
Smartwings was what I found earlier, but Eurolines was cheaper still, and isn't so bad if you can get on the bus first and snag that back row of seats so that you can stretch out, (if it's not too crowded.)
I ended up taking a eurolines bus to prague, and then another to Paris, where I am now.
I have a new problem that i'm going to start a new thread for.
