I'm Irish, heading to Sydney & then on from there. I've been reading hostel reviews trying to narrow them down. What's the best part of Sydney to go if you're looking to start a round the world trip, getting to meet t people?
Thank You

I'm speaking generally here, but the best suburbs to meet people would be the eastern suburbs (Darlinghurst, Paddington, Bondi, Coogee, etc) as well as inner suburbs such as Glebe and Newtown.

Well I've had no luck in meeting anyone in 1 month...And I am bubbly and friendly and find it normally easy to meet people...they like muscly people not skinny people like me...I feel safer on the streets of new york...people get mugged here...well 2 people in 2 weeks outside my backgarden... I'm 10 mins walk away from wakeup hostel...Try brisbane My ozzy friend who i know online said people are nicer there. Infact I met a few girls at cronulla saying the same thing...they were too young for me so I cant be their friends but they have a good head on them and agreed with me. I cant wait to go back to europe but I need to stay here to work for 6 months to get enough money to get back properly
