Hi, thinking of going to Nepal from Varanasi in June, does anyone know what the temperatures will be like roughly?
And what type of clothing would be good for this time of the year? Im planning on doing a few treks as well, hopefully the Everest Base Camp one...

Also what other equipment are a must bring for trekking in Nepal? Ive heard that there are tea houses along the way, so im not thinking about carrying a sleeping bag/tent... Is this a good idea?

Thanks in advance. Appreciate any help i can get...

I too will be doing the Everest trek in June coming from Varanasi, and so far everyone has said that there is no need for a sleeping bag. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

It should be quite warm, although layers and good light(er) weatherproof jacket is a must.

Hello there,
Namaste(A local form of Greetings)from Nepal

Infact, the weather get more warmer in June compare with Feb and March and yeah you are correct that you won't need such a huge clothes at that time and you will get enough blancket each tea houses.

So, bring some more light clothes like as t-shirts,shorts,layers,waterproof jackets and couple of fleesh jackets while you are up to 4000mt.

Please write here for more and any other travel informations.
