Right, after last night's pizza episode, I went to bed and fell asleep almost immediately (with the help of a few glasses of De Bortoli Wild Vine 23006 Shiraz), and began to dream the following.....

....it was 1993 and I was sitting an accounting exam. It was a 3 hour exam and time was ticking, but I had just about finished the paper and I was cruising to a decent pass or maybe even a credit. I then noticed that some of the exam pages were stuck together, and in actual fact I was only about half way through the paper! I looked at my watch, and I had 20 minutes to go. I'd put so much work into the subject, and I was on the verge of panic. Plus, my accounting tutor was supervising the exam and she'd helped me out a lot. I couldn't let myself down nor her. So I gathered my wits, began to calm down, and started reading the questions that I had only just noticed. They were not of an accounting/finance nature whatsoever. Being a dream, the details of the questions were irrelevant. I picked up my pen and started answering the questions the best I could. Just when I'd written my first paragraph, the pen ran dry! So I reach for another, and after a minute or so it also runs dry. I then reach for a pencil, but before I know it, the led snaps. Time is almost up, but I knew if I answered one last question properly, based on my previously answers, I might just pass the exam. So I reach for a borrowed pen and as I do, there is a gust of wind that blows my papers all over the floor. Whilst reaching down to gather them, I hear the dreaded words; "Pens and pencils down please. Time is up". Only then do I notice that I'm naked.

So what stress dreams so you have?

I had the exam dream reoccurring for years. I have not had it for a while now. Here is a link to its meaning. What is says in this link made sense for me.

I used to also have the naked dream sometimes. In my dream I used to realise I was naked and then tell myself that probably nobody else notices and then I would walk down the street hoping that is true.
Here is a link for the naked dream.

If your dreams reoccur take a very careful look at what in your life is causing them. Then the reoccurring will either stop or the contents of the dream will change.
For the exam one I used to feel a lot of anxiety in the dream. Then after examining what is happening in my life after each dream the dream changed and now seems to have stopped. Last time I had the dream about the exam I was also failing but then instead of the anxiety I thought(while I was still dreaming) does this exam really matter. Maybe I should just stop wasting time and drop it and do something else. After that I never had the dream again.

I had horrible dreams some 6-7 years back but now fortunately they have stopped. I always dreamt of being chased by a mob with swords and guns and i had to run from pillar to post. When i ran out of breath and the mob finally got hold of me, i just closed my eyes to brace for the imminent death. Everytime my dream broke and i just woke before the gunshots were fired at me:)

I dont get such nightmares now but i still wonder why i was being chased by a mob

Two days ago I dreamed I was on vacation and suddenly found myself enrolled in an all-girls' school where Chef Gordon Ramsey coached some weird volleyball/badminton sport and yelled at me for being whiny.

When I was about 7 or 8 I had a recurring dream that I lived in a cave with my family and for no apparent reason they all got stuck to the walls of the cave and I was the only one left not stuck..
It was horrible... Definite Freudian abandonment issues, I guess

I think he's hot, too! Between him and Hugh Laurie, it'd be a tough choice.

I just didn't like getting yelled at à la Hell's Kitchen.

It is very interesting to see how the Iranian Shiraz wine effect on your dream in such a way.
Next time try to moderate in drinking.

Iranian wine? It was Australian.

Maybe if I drank more of it .....

Kombizz, there is no such thing as Iranian wine because alcohol is illegal in Iran.
Or is it a bit like that fruity alcohol free drink they sell everywhere in Iran that comes in what looks like European beer cans and even has Bavaria on it.
