I just had a look at the Coogee Bay Hotel...it has a very big beer Garden and 6 bars...sounds like a potential plan? Easy to locate after all...head for the stupidly large hotel with the red roof by the beach in Coogee!?!

I regularly organise meets in Blighty with my festy forum, so trying to get you's lot together for a beer (or ten!) shouldnt be too difficult now should it?

Happy travels to those leaving this weekend...2 weeks tonight for me! And a job interview by phone from Oz next Wednesday! Eep!

Ive been here for 3 weeks! SO yeah i guess im planning on staying longer than two weeks haha. Bored outta my tree not working though.

I live realy near Bondi but its not all that great. I mainly hang out on Bronte beach. Manly is great but thats a bit out of the way. About a half hour drive from here or more. Coogee is ideal. Full of backpackers and drunkards. The coogee bay is a great pub too and they show the irish six nations games so im happy!

Im arriving in Sydney on 5th of march, staying right next to bondi beach. I can see myself goin back n forth from bondi to coogee a lot though, so anywhere near there sounds good to me for a few drinks. does anyone know the best way to coogee from bondi? how long does it take to walk it?

Bus...not sure which one the number is but it sure is a nice walk if ya wanna try it...how long...the guide books will probably tell you. Oh wait, a nice friendly website tells me its 6km and will take about 2 hours!

There seems to be quite few folksies heading in a Syd direction now so if anyone does want to meet up on March 9th, please come along to the Coogee Bay Hotel and we will try and attempt a meet up at the Sunday Session event they have on there! I'll be there regardless as I'll need some beachside R&R after a phat night out at the Future Music Fest the previous day.

Nearly packed now...fly in less than 24 hours. Got the seat booked, just about to go out and enjoy my last British night sky for quite some time. Even got some snow as a final British send off today too. I cant wait for 23'C and beaches!

Me and my sis will be at Coogee Bay Hotel from 4 this Sunday and if anyone fancies joining us, PM me or leave a message on here. I'm taking me laptop to Syd, so will be able to keep tabs on the website...which has helped me so much over the past few weeks.

Ta to everyone who has sent messages to me too. Will hopefully meet up with some of you over the next few weeks.

Stay happy and happy packing and good luck to all those following shortly behind.
