Who needs a doctor the most? The healthy? Or the sick?

U are not suggesting that I join that site I got the quotes from to become healthier are u?

Here is another quote made by one of the members of the site. She is talking about a girl who was looking at porn in a magazine.

"Most afflictions like this are caused by sins committed while still inside the womb. If she can repent for what she does god will embrace her and make her as human as you or me but if she chooses not to she'll always be like this"

Mel, you're getting your knickers in a bind over nothing. You can find fundamentalist quotes about everything online--you're just looking for stuff to get upset over. It's not worth it; you're falling into the trap of reacting to what your so-called nutcases say. Far better to not let it bother you. Then their words and ideas have no power over you.

I'm not sure the members of the Fundementalist Christian website would appreciate having their comments randomly posted here (or anywhere) when taken out of context. That is, only one comment from here and there versus the discussion itself, and then being called "nutters". Whether they are "nutters" or not isn't the real issue. They joined that website to discuss their views regardless of what someone else thinks. They didn't come over here to voice their opinions. It is no different than members of some other site taking random comments from here and commenting they're stupid or wrong or whatever. I'm sure it happens regularly, but...

There is some possibility that one of their members is also a TP member...

Tway, what u are saying is bothering me.
If I want to care about things, I will.
And it is unflattering to define caring about things rather than being apathetic as getting my knickers in a knot.

I did provide the link and I never would have guessed that calling randoms on the internet nutters without even naming them would be a problem.

Anyway, who cares. Mel abandoning this topic because it is becomming complicated.

Caring is one thing--getting upset over comments you dug up somewhere online is quite another. By all means, start a thread about things that you find outrageous and unfair. But to post gibberish from anonymous people seems like a waste of energy. Wouldn't it be better to focus on issues you can do something about? You're preaching to the choir here--what's that going to accomplish?

And it is not flattering either to suggest I am preaching when I think I am engaging in a conversation. I am not trying to acomplish anything except have a bit of fun with other members and maybe in the process hear some interesting opinions or funny comments even.
Anyway, this topic is neither interesting nor fun anymore. It is so difficult to talk with people about serious topics even when I try to do it in a light hearted way. Now that bothers me. But who cares. Well, I do but I will drop the subject anyway. Mel really bailing on this thread this time.
