Hi guys....

trying to load up photos this month and I´m getting this message...

Last Month (January) I exceeded my limit.... however we´re now in February and I´ve not loaded a single piccie yet.

The % uploaded says I´ve used 0% of my monthly limit....

Any ideas ???

cheers

Uhm, in the title it said 101%. But in your post it seems correct...0% is no piccie

Yep....

Figured it out.....

This seems to be a problem with the Bulk Uploader having some hang over from the previous month or something.

I used the original Loader for one picture and this seemed to then circumvent the bulk uploader error message which meant I could use the Bulk uploader after I´d added a picture using the single load method.

Utrecht... Thanks for pointing out my seemingly garbage message....

It´s all good now.... however... you might want to remove the error message on the bulk uploader.

Apologies if this makes no sense whatsoever.... Bit hung over today !

I read again and again... I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me.

By "I'm getting this message" I took it to mean the message in the title--"You've used 101%". The 0% is what's written in the uploaded section. Right? Right? What do I win?

Hmm, looks like a bug indeed.

I just want to be clear on how this came to pass though :)

You were over in January (let's say 101%)
You tried uploading something in Feb (message says 0% used) using the bulk uploader and it came up with an error when trying to upload saying you've used 101%.
You upload one photo on the single upload and after that you can upload just fine using the bulk uploader again

That sound about right?

I´m glad you could make sense of my garbled message but that´s exactly what happened.

Hope this helps

Hmm, looks like a bug indeed.

The upload component only records the "bandwidth used" figure when a new photo is uploaded (so if someone doesn't upload for a couple of months, the figure as it was at the last upload remains for all that time), and relies on the select (which looks at the date of that last upload to determine the real used value for the current month) to decide if uploading is allowed.
It sounds like this last part wasn't copied along to the multi-upload form. (I guess that's why it's in beta.) ;)
