This makes me sound a little obsessive, but I was wondering if there's any software out there which would allow you to write a list of places you intend to vist and tick them whenever you actually get around to it. I know there's a lot of "to do list" software out there but I've played around with them and they don't seem to be what I'm after - they're all geared towards more business type tasks. I'm fully aware I could just use a pen and paper, but I wondered if there was any nice software out there which somebody could recommend.
If you are on Facebook, there's this application "Where I've Been" which works like that. You can tick a country to be either I've lived here, I've been here, or I want to go here, each type marked by different colours.
I saw such a software somewhere in SF, but I can't remember the name of it.
It was a very basic chart of interesting places in California and other main cities around the world.
I try to find more about it when ever I pass that Travel Book shop in SF.
This site seems to be what you are after. There's another better known one called 43places which seems quite slick.
It's called Micrsoft Excel.
In column A, put the list of countries you intend to visit.
In column B, add a tick against each country you've visited.
