Im in the process of organising my first ever OS trip and Im trying to find a good deal on travel insurance.
I live in Australia and Im planning on traveling to Europe for an undecided length of time (minimum 3 months) with a 30 day stop over in Thailand on the way.
Ive booked my tickets through Flight Center and they only really endorse one company called "Vero". But if there's one thing I do know about these things, its to shop around before buying anything!
So, does anyone know much about this "Vero" mob? Are they good? (price wise) Has anyone else found any good deals with other companies?
Im pretty much just looking for the cheapest package available - basic medical and luggage cover.
Any feedback would be much appreciated...
Thanks in advance!
hi there, I am from nz and also bought my flights from flightcentre. They only offered healthsure, but after checking various companies online we found the policies to be basically the same and the excess amount determined the price of the policy (and of course where you are going in the world!). In the end we went with World nomads:
We looked for reviews and the only bad ones that came up were for the last company we used but we thought they were fine so who knows!
We are mostly travelling south east asia but also including italy for 3 weeks.
Hope this helps!
Ive used dk travel insurance(part of eyewitness travel) a couple of times and had no problems with them plus they are pretty cheap, web site is www.dk.com/travel-insurance, if not try worldnomads as they come highly recommended by alot of people.
Hope it helps
