I just looked at a Greek phrasebook and got a little scared. I usually try to learn a little of the language but if I don't know greek, is it still pretty easy for an American to get along in Athens and Mykonos?

Hi Laurim. A lot of Greeks speak some or fluent English. Tourism is a major industry in Greece. You shouldn't have too much trouble.

Yep, no major dramas all over Greece although I once ordered a coke and got a cake!

Hmmm . . . . was it good though?

I've had more trouble in England. I went into a shop in Liverpool to get some burn cream after a minor cooking accident. I've never thought of myself as having a very thick accent but I was directed to the cream buns instead.

Anyway, back on topic . . . .

Ordering a Big Mac is not cooking Mikey.

Yes the cake was good, but I still needed a coke.

Thanks for the assurance! Maybe I should bring pictures of my favorites so I can just point, lol. As long as I can get my Diet Coke and nothing with seafood in it, I'll be ok. Oh, and I need to know the word for "Women" so I don't surprise anyone :)

Well, at least you weren't given bum cream.

Does seafood extender classify as seafood?

Yes. As do fish fingers.

Now stop it before Purdy or Hien shifts this to the Off Topic forum and we lose all our brownie points.
