I recommend you to go Tonglor Area. You can go by BTS from Siam Center to there. There are many Pub and Res.
RCA is for local people spend a drunk time for life. I not recommend for foreginer.
Any question you ask me. [snip]

DON"T go to RCA (unless you want to miss your flight the following morning that is)!
You arrive in Thailand at what... 10:30pm by the time you have cleared customs collected your bags and get a taxi it wil be what... 11:30pm. Taxi to your hotel... another... 30-40 mins?
So thats what just after midnight. My advise: -
Hit a few local bars, a few beers and then off to bed about 2 or 3am (if you have already paid for your hotel you mayaswell get a few hours kip out of it).
You will have to be at the airport at least 1 hour before, I would suggest getting a taxi at 5:45am (at the latest)
PS: your coming from Australia? Consider the possibility that maybe and just maybe all you will want to do is go to bed once you get to your hotel!! Jet lag all the way!
Yep comming from Perth so its a 6 hour flight, they are only 1 hour behind so if i dont have a late one the noght before should beable to pull an all nighter even if i sleep 4 5 hours i will still be super tired! Go the Jet lag! Yeah i reakon thats prob the go Paul3879 just have few drinks maybe even at the hotel were staying at the pathumwan princess will have to get my moneys worth in the whole 5 hours i will be there. Prob wasnt even worth getting a hotel should have just hung round the airport haha oh well already paid now. On teh way back were staying for another night but with a longer lay over so might have to check out this RCA!!
My mate and i are in Bangkok for one night on the 25 May and are staying at the Pathumwan princess before we fly out to Phuket in the morning. We arrive at 10:30pm and the leave for Phuket at 7:30am seems like a bit of a waste to sleep for 5 or so hours so i was just wondering if anyone knows of the best nightlife close to ?? Also there are no casino's in thailand wright??
You are paying a lot of money for a few hours in a posh hotel! Next time plan on a few days in Bangkok at first and probably a follow up last night in Bangkok before your flight home. Even in Bangkok you can get a tan just walking around, you don't have to be in Phuket to get some sun. Two airports serve Bangkok, make sure you know which one you fly out of for Phuket.
Take a meter taxi to the Sukhumvit Road area or Pat Pong and check out the nightlife. I arrive in Bangkok around midnight, when I get settled in my hotel on Sukhumvit Road there is still plenty of stuff to do - even up to past 2 a.m.
For your final nights (s) in Thailand get a hotel on Sukhumvit Road. If you still want to spend a lot you can check out the Landmark and the Marriott. If you want another location not close to bars and also save money then check out the Asia Hotel (right on a Skytrain stop too!)
