I may get a Mac sometime in teh near future but I'll always stick by Windows PC's because of the pure amount of software available for it and above all I can build mine up the way I like it instead of Apple making it ridiculously difficult to even upgrade a Mac let alone pay for it. lol and I also don't like iTunes, only thing it seems to be good for is tagging mp3's when needed.

Not exactly against Mac's I just think Windows based PC's have a better use for most people :)

One of the biggest benefits of today's macs (as opposed to those of 2 years ago) is that you can run Windows and the Mac OS simultaneously on the same machine-you just toggle between the two. So you can not only load all the software that isn't available for a mac (which really isn't as much as you might think anymore now that apple is gaining marketshare hand over foot) onto the windows part of your mac, but you also get the benefit or running the mac stuff. Funnily enough there's actually been benchmarking tests run on what laptops are the fastest at running Windows Vista? The winner was a mac, hehe :)

Actually, this I just picked up a copy of whatPC, and they ran a mac laptop with windows on it, comparing it to a pc based laptop it got whipped on speed, graphics.
So the mighty Mac has now just become an expensive white designer box (since it runs the x86) with only one mouse button. maybe if you like the mac software OS, it's worth seeing if you can install it onto a PC and save yourself some cash.
