Hi every one. Can any one tell me, how long does it takes to get from Rome to Paris by train, and it's there any other options besides just a seat. and if there is, how much does it cost? I have no idea where to go for this kind of info, I went euro rail, but doesn't show any pictures of the accommodation in their trains and I'm not sure if it's 15 hrs, 12 hrs...etc.
Artesia operates night trains between Rome and Paris that have couchettes. Tickets are sold through Trenitalia and SNCF; good deals are to be had.
Go to trenitalia website.
Just type in the departing column 'Rome' and arrival column 'Paris'. I think the fastest will take about 11 - 13 hours to reach from Rome to Paris, depending on which tren company you're taking and how many changes you make.
Price range from 40 Euro for students to about more than 100 Euro for single bed, again depends on which seats you choose and what type of passenger.
heya, www.bahn.co.uk is a good rail website for searching length of journies etc.
alternativly look at flying as it usually costs the same as rail journies these days, easyjet.com do a direct flight from rome to paris (check out http://theairdb.com/airport/CIA.html for a list of where you can get a plane to)
hi, does anyone know if i can buy train tickets from Paris to Rome on trenitalia website? are there any other websites where you can get the SMART fares?
