At least he has an opinion and doesn't live in some hippy-trippy world of lying to himself and trying to convince himself and those around him that he's cool with just about everything and everyone in the world regardless of their religion, thoughts, lifestyle choices, etc.

Who lives in a hippy-trippy world? Me???

Who, Me???

Not just you but pretty much everyone. People are so full of opinions, judgments, sentiments and beliefs but when it comes to certain subjects all of a sudden they are just soooo cool with everything.

I'm going to have to agree with wothtefiqh here.........as an average American, it seems that the Islamic world (not everybody, but the most vocal) blames virtually everyone else for their own problems. Yes, the Western World has an abysmal attitude toward the East, and international banking doesn't support what it should, but the vocal muslims are blaming everyone in the west for their problems, and that "just ain't so". How about policing your own people, your own extremists? If they're not living according to Islam, then denounce them. Maybe take a little initiative....stop the insanity of extremist Islam.

I for one am really tired of the vocal muslims blaming America for all their problems. Can anyone honestly tell me that American soldiers have killed more Iraqis than Iraqis have? I don't think so. Every night on our national news, I hear of another suicide bombing killing more Iraqi citizens. That's a lot of people, and for God's sake (everyones God), stop living in the 14th century and get over your damn "tribal" mindset. Tribes belong in the past, and if the average muslim in the middle east wants change, then dammit, it has to start from within.

Yes, George Bushy and Dicky Cheney were absolutely wrong to invade Iraq, but it is a reality, so f**king live with it and try to promote change from within. Why is it that the Iraqi Parliament can barely decide what to have for lunch, much less help their own people? If they really cared about the people of Iraq, they would set aside their differences and make peace. Unfortunately, that won't happen, because they're too damn concerned with who is a Shiite or Sunni or Kurd or Moneylender. My grandfather was a Kurd, and he would roll over in his grave if he knew that the assbags were still running the show in the Middle East. Nothing has changed for thousands of years over there.....mullahs keep the people down by intimidation (God would hate that), and ignorance still rules the land. It seems that Islam, the way it is practiced, wants to keep people afraid all the time...........not too dissimilar to GW's "vote for me because I'll keep you safe from terrorists", except that America can vote in a new leader this year. If only Islam had that choice with the mullahs......

So Kombizzy, what is Iran doing to help bring peace to the region? It appears that they're sending weapons........how nice.

Wotthefiqh.......I finally found my copy of Khomeini's "Little Green Book"......I'll be posting excerpts from time to time.

Aw, shucks......(blushes with Irish pride....)

Sorry Purdy, I'm just tired of "Muslim sensitivity", when many of them are busy strapping on explosive vests to kill their own people.

And you ain't no average Irish lass
