please help me with choosing a hostel in Barcelona. One where the staff is nice, where the doors are open the whole night, and the hostel should be close to city center.
Thanks you in advance!

Hostel Campi is a great little hostel in a street off of Las Ramblas up near Plata Cataluna. Its a quiet hostel but the rooms are a good size and shared toliets are cleans. I cant remember the exact price but it was reasonable for the centre of the city.

Last time i stayed in ideal youth hostel. Located right off las ramblas. Open all night, but only the cleaning lady which didnt speak a word english were there at night. You probably wont have that many problems in the middle of the night, but we had some problems with our booking when we arrived at midnight. The day staff speak english and was really helpful. The rooms are small, but ensuite and with a little terrace(don't know if all rooms had terraces). Lockers in all rooms. Nice place to meet other travellers. Common room by the reception where you were allowed to drink. No kitchen though.

I stayed at kabul just off las ramblas towards the coast side, really fun place and much more of a party hostel if thats what you're after. free breakfast and evening meal and its pretty cheap too

I stayed at Centric Point hostel and had a wonderful experience there. It is located just north of Las Ramblas next to Catalunya Square and is an easy location for accessing all of Barcelona. Great staff, fun crowd. I would definitely recommend it unless you want to be closer to the beach

I've stayed at Seapoint hostel twice... it's not in the Las Ramblas area but only a 15 minute walk around the waterfront... it's claim to fame is that it's right on the beach. You can't beat the location. Unless it's really cold out and you can't go to the beach of course.
