If I only had 6 days in Morocco, where should I go? Would just like to stay in 1 place for the week. Is it an expensive place to travel? Any insight would be appreciated

Nice question. Haven't been there myself, but I would base myself in Marrakesh for sure.
Although no single city/place requires 6 full days to explore, there are loads of daytrips from Marrakesh or you could rent a car yourself to explore the Atlas Mountains around Marraskesh.
Also a combination of Marra with Essaouira on the coast is easy, it's 3 hours by bus to Essa.

i would base myself in the city of Fez. From there u can make daytrips to middle atlas and to the beautiful cities of chefchouen and Meknes. Fez itself is an awesome place. For me the real Marroco with the old medina (old city full of bazars and little shops, main transport donkey cart). Marrakesh is ok but not that what i expected. it has become really commercial. For me it has lost its glory. It has become a place with mass tourism, i was glad when i left to be honost. The old market place in Marakech is still worthwhile but the western tourists outnumber the locals. So go to Fez, u will love it.

ashy,
when are you going to morocco?
i will be there from the 19th to the 25th, if you'd like to meet up with a fellow traveller.

Marrakech is fun, easy and very full of tourists.

Fes is more the real Morocco, friendly, but slightly more challenging.

Depends how adventurous you're feeling!
