Hi

I'm going to go to Figi in May alone for 12 days, I'm 25yr old and I'm flying in from Sydney. I have looked at different brochures and I have read reviews and have been getting mixed responses. I was wondering if someone could please help answer some questions.

I would like to see a few of the islands in this time as well as get out meet people and have a party too! Some of the tours I have researched seem really expensive, and always return to Nadi by 5.45pm, rather than doing day trips is there an option where you could move from one island to another every other day, as I am keen to stay on Bounty, Beachcomber and Mana.

Also can you shed some light on accomodation, as I have seen a 100 bed dorm on beachcomber is asking for $60AUD per night which is a bit expensive!

Please can someone help me with this as I'm really starting to stress that I will end up on my own on an island full of honeymooners :(

Thanks in advance for any replies :D

i did a package with awesome adventures fiji and they were pretty good. i did a 5 day package but there are various options available. The yasawa islands where i went to are pretty quiet though but you can get beers at the bars in the resorts. as i did a package its hard to say what the price per night for a dorm would be but $60 does sound a lot.

here's the website :

I also did a 7 night package with Awesome Adventures and I would highly recommend them. My favourite island was Manta Ray.
I wouldn't recommend Bounty Island if you are travelling by yourself as they don't have dorms, just double rooms.
At Beachcomber the prices usually include three meals a day so A$60 per night isn't too bad. You can expect to pay around this price or a bit more if food is included.
Enjoy!
