This thread is marked as being about Laos

Hi everyone

Im new to Travellerspoint and was hoping for some help/advise.

My partner and myself are travelling later this year in august, on our travel's where heading to laos for a couple of weeks, we had seen a web site telling us about volunteer work in a elephant santury in laos, but since seeing that site we cant find it again, it offered staying there for $35 a week and a sign up fee of £200

Does anyone know of other cheap volunteering places in laos where your helping out with local wildlife??

If you make a short trip to Cambodia, you could volunteer at a wonderful school:

Spent many weeks there and they were the best of our lives!

If you need any more information, please do not hesitate to be in contact.

You could also try the french NGO that organises the annual elephant festival here - website
