Hello,

Take a train Mumbai to Gorakhpur or u can fly from Mumbai to Lucknow and then take a train from Lucknow to Gorakhpur.

From gorakhpur u can reach the Nepal border at Sonauli in 2 hrs by bus, where u can complete the visa formalities and then take a bus to Pokhara or Kathmandu from the Nepalese side of the border.

Hi.I am appearing for my CFA exam in Kathmandu on Dec 7, 2008.can someone tell me the most economical routes (mumbai - kathmandu) and hotels to stay.

I believe train is most economical but no clue how to get to kathmandu from mumbai.

I am also appearing for the cfa exam in Dec, Can somebody pl help with a good & economical hotel where one can stay in Kathmandu.

The most economical way from Mumbai to Kathmandu is what Arif has suggested. Indians don't need a visa to go to Nepal.

Can s'bdy suggest which area with gud hotels will be nearest to Budhanikantha school, how much time wil it take to reach the school from the hotel.
