Hello, Take a train Mumbai to Gorakhpur or u can fly from Mumbai to Lucknow and then take a train from Lucknow to Gorakhpur. From gorakhpur u can reach the Nepal border at Sonauli in 2 hrs by bus, where u can complete the visa formalities and then take a bus to Pokhara or Kathmandu from the Nepalese side of the border. hope that helps cheers |

The most economical way from Mumbai to Kathmandu is what Arif has suggested. Indians don't need a visa to go to Nepal. |
