Hi all,

just to check, when flying out of US is each passenger allowed to check in 2 pieces of luggage regardless of weight? Or is this airline dependent?

Most airlines are 2 x 32kg bags each + 1 piece cabin baggage (economy), business get extra piece cabin baggage.

Hope you are flying Singapore Air...as I think they are the best!

Thanks!

Nah SQ was too pricey so I settled for Thai Airways which I don't like cos it was value-for-money for a decent-I-would-fly airline and had an arrival time I wanted.

I found www.seatguru.com while googling which had info abt many airlines and their baggage allowances. Seems like Thai allows 2 bags, max 32kg while flying in or out of N America. KLM only allows 23kg!!

I work for an airline so i know that north america operates the piece concept for luggage allowance BUT you should check with your airline for their luggage allowance and also dont get it mixed up with the weigh limits for bags.
