Really hoping someone can help me on this. I am flying into Rio shortly and in order to avoid any possible issues I need to book onward travel out of the country as I'm not due to fly out of Santiago until several months later.
Just wondering if anyone was aware of any companies online where I could book e-tickets from Foz de Iguazu to Puerta Iguazu or Buenos Aires (i.e out of Brazil and into Argentina) so I can show a copy to the authorities/airline?
I've searched the forums on this but most companies I see mentioned only seem to service either Brazil or Argentina, not cross border.
flying from Foz de Iguazu to Puerto Iguazu ?
you can cross the border by bus,I dont think there would be a direct flight.
but you may check Varig,Tam,Gol,Lan.
Thanks Marlis. I would prefer to get a bus seeing as two two towns are apparently just beside each other. Its more that I need to have the ticket before I leave Ireland to fly into Rio. If there were a bus company that I could pre-book this that would be great.
found this for you.
I'm sure there are more bus companys around, best look under Argentina or Brazil
all the web sites show something about Iguazu and transportation to and from this amazing place.
You have an outbound ticket from Santiago? It doesn't matter if that's a few months in the future, that will be good enough for Braz authorities to let you enter; they're pretty used to backpackers having strange itineraries.
