Last week the documentary Angry Monk was on Dutch television, it's a road movie follwing the life is Gendun Choepell. A must see for anyone interested in the history of Tibet.

I don't know have to give a good link directly to the movie, but from this website you can see the documentary: http://www.boeddhistischeomroep.nl/uitzending.aspx?lIntEntityId=923

anyway....

I'm hoping something will come of this, been following and a supporter of the free tibet campaign for quite some time,

on a side note it may well be controversial but I don't think that China should have been allowed to host the olympics. I can see the many arguments for and against but I'm concerned that allowing them to host such a high profile tournament somehow condones the human rights abuses that occur everyday in the name of Chinese power...

I was at Pier 83 in NYC yesterday there was a 'Free Tibet" demonstration there. Roads were closed and the police were there with their cars and horses. Will upload a photo or two when I get around to transferring them to my laptop.
