hi all. im 22 and off to oz in may on my todd for a year on a WHV. now this is my 5 things i have to do before i leave. whats on your 5 things to do list.
- learn how to surf. (its the law in australia isnt it that you have to be able to surf)
- go and watch moto gp in november at philip island.(£95 for a three day ticket, bargain)
- do a motorbike track day. (once in a life time oppertunity)
- work in a mine (just for the experiance, plus how cool does that sound.)
- go to a zoo. (dunno why really just be intresting)
oh and one more. hear someone play a digeree doo.( plus get them to teach me how to spell digeree doo)
come on then whats on your list.
After reading this your post alot of that does sound appealing and i hadnt thought of it. I was really wanting to be there just now for the F1 Grand Prix but my travel mate couldnt go till April, so here i am at 3am waiting for it to start. Goin to se the moto gp sounds fantastic i hadnt even thought of that, and also a track day would be great aswell. i planned to hire a bike at some point but a track day sounds fantastic aswell. i take it you are a fellow bike nut aswell! and surffing is a defo for me at some point i malways glued to the extreme sports channel! sounds like an action packed list you have goinjg on! looks awsome! i have to say the moto gp is becoming really appealing as we plan to be over that side of the country around november/december

yeah love bikes. i raced for the last two years but ran out of money at bsb croft when my gearbox went on my R1. i have looked it up and it costs £80 for a trackday at phillip island. or if you want to hire one of there bikes,(K7 gsxr600) it costs £138 plus £80 for the track day. they also hire out clothing cheap too but i am gonna get my gear shipped over. for that sort of money i gotta do it.
GP yeah that is gonna be mega. i was gonna try and hire a beach house out and have some familly come over and come with me but all the beach houses seem to be booked up so ill just see what happens when i get there.
As a suggestion for a zoo to go to, think about the Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo, NSW.
Mine work - no travel insurance covers it so be careful!
