I’m 24, female living in Holland and will be in Jburg for work 5-9th April and I want to extend my trip with 6 days or so to go to CapeTown and possibly another city.

So far my plan is to stay in Cape Town 10-14th (possibly 1-2 days longer) in a hostel and see what’s around.

Is anyone else traveling to Cape Town around this time?

I'm totally open minded as to what to do and tempted to do a tandem or bungy jump. The most important thing to me with this trip is to meet some chilled and fun people.

I am also open to other traveling suggestions.

Cheers!

theres a 216 metre bungee near plentenberg bay, think its the second highest in the world!! iv done it twice and its well worth it, you definately wont regret it!! Its about a 6 or 7 hour drive from cape town but you could stay in plet bay or knysna for a day or two, very nice places.
try and fit in great white cage diving if you have the time aswell, great experience.
as with anywhere you should meet plenty of interesting ppl in hostels,
anyway have a great time, its a cool country!

Hi,

I will be in South Africa once again sometime in mid April... and while I want to make an weekend trip sometime now ('am sure a 2 day trip will be nothing more than reconnaissance!), I would love to be there again around 16th - 20th of April. My travel plan is not firmed up yet, but let's be in touch! Are your travel dates firmed up?

By the way... about a month back I did the Victoria Falls jump (in Zambia) it was quite something, and I guess now I am a life long fan of the idea of jumping off, tied by the foot ;)

Cheers!
