Lisbon, Sevilla is nice but you should go to Portugal anyway. I loved Lisbon, all the good seafood |

5 days is too much for Valencia, but it is a really nice city. You could combine it and Seville. But Lisbon is worth visiting, too... this isn't helping, is it? |

The easiest way to travel between Valencia and Sevilla would be by bus (train is also possible, but expensive and takes more time). http://www.movelia.es gives an option with ALSA, for as little as €50. [ Edit: Edited on Apr 1, 2008, at 3:59 AM by bentivogli ] |

I haven't been to Lisbon but I hear lots of good stuff about it. I'd say go with Sevilla and Lisbon. There is no direct train between Sevilla and Lisbon as it goes via Madrid. It's either car/bus/plane. You also might want to consider staying in or very near the Santa Cruz district. I stayed in a hostel very close to SJ train station and it was a 25 minute walk from my lodging to the the city attractions. I don't know what the weather is like during the time you are going but in the summer it was scorching hot. Have fun on your trip! |

To be honest I would pick two places closer to eachother, namely Sevilla and Granada. (fly from Barcelona to Granada, with Vueling, Clickair, Spanair, Air Europa or Iberia, and train to Sevilla). 5 days are just fine to do that. (Sevilla - London, can be flown with Clickair and Ryanair) And Valencía - Sevilla can also be flown with Vueling, for about 40 euros. [ Edit: Edited on Apr 5, 2008, at 8:27 AM by Herr Bert ] |

I would really suggest you Lisbon. Seville and Valencia are nice cities but for my personal opinion Lisbon is really charming. Good food, good prices, wonderful seaside nearby and lot of differents thinks to do. - sunset in Adamastor or at Miradouro da Graça Everyone can find something interesting in Lisbon and that's great for a place. -snip- Have fun!!! I would go with the Seville Granada option. Valencia is nice but takes at least 8 -10 to get to Seville from there unless you fly. Don't stress yourself, enjoy a couple of days in each place without having to run around and travel. Personally would spend more time in Granada than Seville. |
