Hi Prentice and Magnus,

I can guarantee you both it won't take long for you to meet others in Australia. Prentice you will probably meet up with others on your trip thoughout Thailand, who are travelling through to Australia as well.

What you can do is put up notices in Hostels when you arrive, for travelling partners ........ but I am sure you won't take too long in meeting others.

HAVE A BALL in your time in Australia guys, BUT pleeeeaaase....... remember to keep in contact with your family and friends at all times. Let them know where you are going, and let them know when you arrive at your destination. In fact it is also a good idea to let your hostel know where you are going and with whom.

If you are going out into the outback let the Police know your travel arrangements and then when you arrive at your destination let the police know there.

The reason for all of this is ...... from personal experience when I owned and ran backpackers hostels .......... it is sooooo easy for young people to just have such a good time they forget that time is going by and haven't contacted their family and friends for ages.

They then begin to worry....... It makes life so much easier for all concerned if you let people know where you are going and when you expect to get to your next major destination. You can be located far more easily and save a lot of heartache!

End of lecture!!

regards and wishes for you both to have the best time here.
