HAPPY (BELATED) BIRTHDAY EV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isa apologizes wholeheartedly for allowing her "real" life to interfere with posting your birthday thread in a timely manner... :(

Here's hoping that you had a wonderful birthday (April 5th) in The Big Apple (or Gotham - take your pick) and celebrated in true New York fashion!!!

Isa has arranged for Ev to have a real day off of work to celebrate her birthday since her's one fell on a Saturday and she was cheated out of a "get out of work free" day. The day will start with a wonderful breakfast of Eggs Benedict and Mimosas at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel - served by Dimitri (the Greek God of New York Waiters and has won the Greek God of New York Waiters award 3 years in a row). Following breakfast, a shopping trip to Madison and Fifth Avenues. Stops have been planned for Barney's New York, Sak's Fifth Avenue, Henri Bendel's, and Takashimaya's. A side trip to Soho is optional if time allows. Lunch will take place at Nathan's as they are still the top of the line for Coney Island dogs and the day woudn't be complete without some type of "junk food". After lunch, Ev gets to decide which attractions she would like to see before heading to Tavern on the Green in Central Park for dinner. Isa tried to have Dimitri hired for the day just to serve Ev but the owners of Tavern on the Green weren't receptive of the idea... Instead, they have offered a line-up of waiters to serve Ev and each part of the meal will come with it's own server. It's the least one can do for a singe woman in New York. Isa tries. The evening will conclude with a visit to Naked Lunch (so guess Ev's going to Soho like it or not) for a night of cocktails and dancing until the wee hours of the morning. Okay, looks like Isa has to arrange for two days off work for Ev...

Again, Happy Birthday Ev and hope you had a spectacular day!!!!!!!! ;)

.........apparently, a time machine is a poor substitute for a good memory. Beerman has been locked inside this telephone box for over 23 hours trying to get back to Saturday morning. When suddenly, bursting forth through a little swinging doggy door at the bottom of the space-time continuum kiosk..............

Halllooooooo, Miss Amsaras.....um, Miss Samshairas....um, Miss Saranaras......damn, where is memory again.......Miss Ev...it is I, Beerman, here to make happy at you on this, what could have been your birthday had your mother had the foresight to know everyone would be late this year with your Most Happy of Happy Day Weeshes and therefore be on time by default!!!!!!!!! Yay!!!!!!!!!

For you this year, Beerman will make special thing......from this day forward forever, Manhattan will have new name........Womanhattan!!!!!!! Ta Daaaaaaa!!!!!! And Beerman will make special deals with all New Yawk cab driver peoples.....they must now be polite to peoples everywhere. No more running over pedestrians, driving on sidewalks, waving one-fingered wave at strangers. All New Yawk is to be polite for longest possible stretch of time, hopefully eclipsing previous record of 13.7 seconds.

Oooh, and Beerman had a cheesecake around here somewhere....now where did it go.........

Beerman wheels around just in time to get clipped by a taxi, which snags Beermans green speedo and drags him down 5th Avenue at roughly 387 kph.........
