Irish Working Holiday question

Travel Forums Europe Irish Working Holiday question

Hey,

I'm 26, from Australia, and I'm thinking of doing a working holiday in Ireland, and am hoping to hear from other people who have done this.
Any helpful advice at all would be appreciated :)

Most of all I'm wondering how easy it was to find a job, and to find a place to live?
I'm flexible with which part of the country I go to, since I've never been there before.

Thanks,

Mini

Finding a job shouldn't be to bad. I know a few people who come over from oz and have found work in bars here. I'm from clonmel county tipp. And there is plenty of bar work available.

And if your daring enough you could try skipping up into N.Ireland to work there in "the UK" for a few quid etc. Ive met a few ozzies whove done this. PM me when you get here and i can help you get some work.

On a British Working Holiday Visa you are allowed to work in:
• England
• Scotland
• Wales
• Northern Ireland

If you want to work in the republic of Ireland you need to have an Irish working holiday visa.
